Lauren is originally from Buffalo, NY but has lived in Northern Virginia since she started college. She worked in Cardiology as a Cardiac ICU nurse for 4.5 years at Inova Fairfax Hospital while completing her Masters Degree in Science Nursing, Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2021.

Prior to her graduate degree, she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Psychology from George Washington University in 2012 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from George Mason University in 2017.

I am passionate about healthcare because it allows me to have a positive impact on patients lives daily by listening to each patients unique needs and concerns, and then educating them on their medications and treatment plans.

Lauren loves hiking with her husband and 6 year old pointer/hound mix Bonnie, is a certified group fitness instructor, an avid reader and enjoys spending time in the kitchen creating healthier versions of her favorite comfort foods.
